Anatomy Building UAMS ~ Little Rock, Arkansas
Education II Building, constructed for the Anatomy Department, includes labs and research space on the lower level, with administrative offices on the upper level. This level also contains two large auditoria, classrooms, and seminar rooms.
The location of the building presented a special challenge in order to provide service to this building as well as the adjacent structure. This was accomplished by constructing a tunnel below Campus Drive, completely shielding the service area.
The structure of the building was been designed for future vertical expansion. The second phase was completed several years ago. We were not notified until the morning for the interview by some U of A coordination mistake. Ken Sims who had handled the client contact for the job was on his way to Magnolia for a previously scheduled interview for the Residence Hall. The U of A refused to reschedule our interview.
