Merchants & Planters Bank Clarendon, Arkansas

Merchants and Planters Bank located in Clarendon serves a small town near the White River.  This facility was a full service bank with loan officers, drive-in service with a bank window and two remotes.  The site is a corner lot with good access.

The bank was designed for expansion for bookkeeping and mortgage department. The structure was convention steel frame and brick veneer façade.

I was the design architect working with Jack See. Jack was WD&D’s bank expert.  Jack new every detail and was great to work with. You took care of the design and functional relationships and Jack handled all the intricate details such a vault doors, deposit boxes, teller line details, dive-in windows, pneumatics, alarms, night deposits and etc.
