Oil & Brine Museum – Smackover, Arkansas
Located in Smackover, the heart of Oil Country, this 24,000 SF Facility provides exhibit space designed to tell the story of oil production in Arkansas, tracing the experience from discovery through production and product use.
The buildings initial building design provided shell space for future exhibits and SGB was selected to work with the exhibit designers to coordinate the architectural framework, layout, structural, and mechanical and electrical support for the exhibits.

This was one of the first projects that I used auto cad as a drafting tool for a complete set of design documents. We were selected as the Prime Contractor / Architects for the exhibits. However, we agreed to act as the consultant to our MEP consultant so the state could contract the work for a higher percentage fee.
