ENDOSCOPY CLINIC for DR. RON HARDIN -Baptist Medical Towers II - Little Rock, Arkansas
This project for Dr. Tom Hardin included remodel of exiting clinic space and adding 4,000 SF of new medical space.
Additional undeveloped space was available nearby, but separated by on the main level by the main fire exit corridor. The main floor to floor height in Med Tower II was sufficient to add a new a mezzanine floor and bridge the corridor below to make connection to the clinic's upper level that existed in the intersticeal space. The first floor of the new construction provided for 5 exam rooms and support functions. The new upper floor connected by a stair provided access to the offices across the hall. Some adjustment to duct work and utilities were addressed to make all of the functions operable.
Remodel space included expansion of files, offices, waiting, and procedure suite and recovery.
This was a study in squeezing more space in an exiting office when a practice grows and no adjacent space is available.
