The 2004 addition to lllll Dormitory added xx semi-private dormitory rooms. Numerous room plans were studied and the conventional plan was chosen to accommodate the University’s program. The New structure updated the mechanical system of the existing Remodeled dormitory. A new lobby and reception created the interface of the new and existing dormitories. The Lobby also provided the transition for the greater floor to floor elevation on the new facility. The lower level included the living quarters for the student life instructor and upper classmen apartments.
The program goal was to design the addition to compliment the existing building and work within the context of the campus plan
