SGB Architects located at Markham and Victory streets provided a great working environment in a historical building. Ken and Rex bought a quarter share in this building during initial remodeling. Our offices located on the grouind floor west side made use of the existing structural ammenities that were commonplace in the late 1800. We enjoyed the 18" thick brick bearing walls and the large windows prevelant at that time. The building steped three elevations from back to front and the 30" elevaion steps worked well with the separate uses that we needed.
Best of all we were near DOE'S EAT PLACE. Always there when time did not permit other choices. Ken, Steve and Myself shared this partership and space for over 18 semi successful years. It was sad to say goodby to the old building, the employees, and the association. We shared many successes and a few disappointments.
